Life Rescue has been a full service EMS, Rescue and Occupational Safety contractor since 1988. With a training center in Western Washington and an operational hub in Las Vegas, Nevada, our team of over 30 skilled technicians are capable of deploying across the US and Internationally. While being certified across disciplines, our Teams can fully integrate into bespoke industries serving in simultaneous roles as HSE, EMS and Rescue personnel.

Kyle Dungan - President
Raised internationally, Kyle combined his love of travel with an enduring curiosity for remote mountains spending much of early adulthood working as a mountain guide and outdoor educator. Since joining Life Rescue in 2014 he has accumulated 20 years as a first responder in volunteer and professional capacities with first hand experience in complex med-evacs and rescue. He also gained his initial SPRAT certification in 2014 and has since worked to bridge the disciplines of industrial rescue and rope access into the most practical and efficient means of technical response.
An endurance athlete at heart and cancer survivor by necessity, he holds deep interests in human performance and persistence. He lives in Bellingham Washington with his wife Kristin and their daughters Isla and Freya.

Renae Schultheis - CFO
Renae earned her B.S. in Environmental Studies from WWU. She worked her way through college by serving up coffee and then began to manage people. She worked as an Office Manager in the healthcare industry for 10 years. She brings ample experience in Bookkeeping, insurance contracts and administrative duties. When she isn't crunching numbers you can find her exploring Bellingham with her husband and two kiddos, biking at Galbraith or taking a Hot Yoga class! She is stoked to be a part of the Life Rescue team!

Isaac Howard - Senior HSE
Isaac started with LRI in 2009. He came to us with over 25 years in the fire service. He dedicated most of his fire service career to training fire fighters and teaching fire and life safety programs to the public. He has filled many roles for LRI which include Safety Specialist, Rescue Technician, Instructor, and Emergency Management consultant. In his spare time Isaac likes to combine his love for travel and teaching. He considerers himself fortunate in that he has been able to share his experiences by teaching in many different countries on topics as varied as health and safety to leadership and emergency management.

Steve Ness - Senior Rescue Instructor
Steve brings over 30 years experience in the emergency response world. He spent 30 years in the fire service retiring as a Battalion Chief of training st South County Fire. During his 30 year career, he spent 27 of those involved with the 120 member Snohomish County Regional Technical Rescue team. He was a lead instructor in both High Angle and Confined Space Rescue. He also was the chair of the training committee for a number of years organizing the teams annual training program, annual skills evaluations and instructor training. Along with his fire service career, he has been a lead instructor for Life Rescue Inc since 1999 providing high angle, Confined Space and EMS training to various industrial clients across different industries. He also is an experinced safety technician working at numerous facilities as a project safety technician. He strives to make every class very hands on and specific to each clients site and needs.

Kris Jorgensen - Senior EMS Instructor
With over 30 years in the fire service, Kris Jorgensen has built a dynamic career rooted in emergency response, safety, and education. Growing up outside Portland, Oregon, his early passion for emergency services evolved into a lifelong commitment to saving lives and training the next generation.
Now based in Bellingham, WA, Kris serves as a Shift Captain, Senior EMS Instructor for the County, and EMT Director at a local technical college. For the past 15 years, he has also been a key contributor at Life Rescue Inc., where he trains emergency responders in critical life-saving skills.
Specializing in EMS, CPR, First Aid, Incident Management, Technical and Water Rescue, De-escalation, and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Kris is a respected leader in his field. His hands-on experience and dedication to mentoring make him a trusted expert, ensuring individuals and teams are ready for any emergency.

Matt Lubar - Instructor
As a lifelong climber with a professional background as a mountain guide and outdoor educator, Matt has been seeking out high and hard to access places both personally and professionally for as long as he was old enough to drive. Matt brings that same passion for education, technical ropework, and robust risk management practices to his work with Life Rescue, whether working confined space rescue standby or teaching the craft of technical rescue to others.

Henry Springall - SPRAT Instructor
Henry Springall is a rope access, rescue, and general work-at-height professional with over a decade of experience across a wide range of industries such as: hydropower, aerospace, wind energy, entertainment production, and arboriculture. Specializing in safety management, project supervision, and rope access, Henry currently serves as the level 3 rope access supervisor in the oil and gas industry. In his spare time Henry likes to travel, go on ski trips in the winter and camping trips in the summer, all with his wife and young daughter.

Brendan Scott - Rescue Operations
Brendan, a proud native of Bellingham, Washington, has been driven by a passion for emergency services, healthcare, and serving others from an early age. As an Eagle Scout and U.S. Marine, he’s always been committed to making a difference. With a degree in kinesiology, Brendan quickly transitioned into the field, becoming both an EMT and rope rescue technician shortly after college. Today, he works as an EMT and rope rescue technician at Life Rescue, where he continues to apply his skills in critical situations. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys backpacking, fly fishing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and skydiving.

Jessica Coffey - Rescue Operations
Jessica Coffey is a dedicated professional with a deep connection to technical rescue environments, honed through years of caving and climbing in the hills of Appalachia. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and a master’s degree in Cultural and Environmental Resource Management from Central Washington University.
After completing her graduate studies, she worked as a technical canyoneering guide in Utah and Washington state, where she further solidified her expertise in technical rescue. Currently, she volunteers with the Skagit Mountain Rescue Unit and is an active participant in international caving expeditions each year. Additionally, Jessica works as an NDT rope access technician, serves as a Vertical Training Commission Instructor for the NSS, and teaches Small Party Assisted Rescue (SPAR).
Jessica holds certifications in rope access, safety, confined space, and cave rescue. She is also a Nationally Registered EMT and Wilderness EMT, reflecting her exceptional proficiency and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of rescue readiness and excellence.

Cammeron Evans - Rescue Operations
Cammeron Evans has been a rescue technician with Life Rescue Inc. since 2023, holding NFPA certifications for confined space and rope rescue. Along with standby rescue operations, Camm also manages the team’s trailers and equipment. Currently, Cammeron is working toward becoming an instructor for fall protection and NFPA 1006 courses offered out of our Bellingham training facility. Outside of work, Cammeron can be found spending time in the mountains with their partner and dogs.

Will Raymond - Rescue Operations
Growing up in Snoqualmie, Washington, Will spent much of his time in the outdoors and found a love for wildlife and exploration. After serving in Kuwait with the army, he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with a focus on biology from Central Washington University.
His journey into ropes started at CWU, where he explored caving, canyoneering, and rock climbing. Over a few short years, these interests evolved into technical rescue and EMS training, leading him to guide canyons and eventually pursue a career at Life Rescue, where he could meaningfully combine these skills. In his free time, Will continues to enjoy the great outdoors, climbing in the mountains of Washington and participating in caving expeditions in Mexico.
Will is certified as a National Registry EMT, Wilderness EMT, and NFPA 1006 Rope and Confined Space Rescue Technician. Since 2023, he has been working full-time as a Rescue Tech for Life Rescue, continually honing his craft in ropes and emergency medicine.

Dan Argo - Rescue Operations
Dan began his career in rescue and first response as a Volunteer Firefighter in 1984 for the Yakima County Fire District. Shortly after discovering an interest in rock climbing at the locally renowned Frenchman Coulee, Dan helped found the high angle rescue team for Grant County district 10 where is currently Fire Captain and in charge of the Technical Rescue team.
Dan began working with Life Rescue In 2022, after retiring from Grant County Public Works as a Road Foreman after 32 years. His attention to detail, wisdom and patience are among the many attributes he brings to Life Rescue.
